The website was built with Concrete5 in order to allow in context editing to ensure that updating the website was as easy as possible. It has Q&A and news sections which are updated in the backend and all updates are propogated through the site. All other edits are done in the actual pages. There is also a google map and image galleries can be easily added. As the Preschool is a registered charity the build was done for 50% of the normal fee. |

It has several pages outlining the benefits of booking the holiday let such as local places of interest and facilities on offer. It also has a contact sheet which has inbuilt invisible spam protection and an ajax availability calendar which is easily updated by the website owners. There is also a directions page which makes use of slide out code to allow the viewer to open a section showing the road directions from the main airports and ferry terminals. |
It was designed to showcase the childminders experience and day to day achievements. It therefore has static pages showing information about the childminder, the childminding setting, fees, hours of work, activities, outings and a contact page. It also has a blog which the childminder can update whenever they want, a photo section, the ability to add comments and this is all backed up by the strong backend of wordpress. |

The site also had to give all the required information about the business and have numerous contact forms for new clients, new agents, affiliates and new vendors. A mySQL database provides the storage for their information. A backend was produced so that the client could upload, edit and delete all of the required information including property photos themselves. |
They needed a website which allowed them to add content and provide a way for new and existing dads to get together to exchange stories and information They were also looking to allocate advertising space to a selection of child orientated companies and also to provide discount vouchers to to incentivise click throughs to create revenue to support the site |

The site also has a custom error 404 page and a print friendly button. There are some dynamic elements to the website but it was mostly built using HTML and CSS. Most of the copy for this website was also written by GMB Web Designs and the website had to pass stringent criteria to get authorisation by the clients FSA compliance office. |
They wanted a website that would show the products unique properties and would act as their online shop. The E-commerce capabilities include a cross sale function and stock management.

The design was liked so much that it was carried through from the company van to the plastic bags. The website was built using php, html and css. |
The homepage loads in just 17 seconds via a 56k modem. Training for the upload of information was undertaken but the site is also hosted,managed and maintained by GMB Web Designs. |

Various additional files have been added under the maintenance agreement and the website users can now download the companies bi-monthly brochures in .pdf format This website loads in just 8 seconds on a 56k modem. |
The Bowman family where able to update the blog on their travels as well as upload all of their photos. A monthly backup was performed by GMB Web Designs to ensure that none of the precious memories would be lost. Load time for the site via 56k modem - 10 seconds |
