This was an upgrade of the old website which I created over 12 years ago. Fun Days Childminding was looking to keep a similar fun layout to their old one but modernise it and make it responsive. In order for users to get the proper experience when viewing a website it must be responsive and adapt to the size of the screen and viewing platform.

The old website was built on Wordpress but for the new one we switched to Concrete5. This was to make the most of the ease of editing of Concrete 5. Kelly can now simply add news, testimonials, photos and information accessible only by the parents of the children she looks after just by simply completing a form layout.

The speed of the website at launch, according to Google Page Speed Insights, was 83 for mobile phones and 94 for desktops.
